Dundurn Press is thrilled to announce that our BIPOC Amplifier campaign has won the 2023 Internet Advertising Competition Awards presented by the Web Marketing Association for the Best of Show Online Campaign category!
Brought to life by Glacier Digital, Dundurn Press’s BIPOC Amplifier Campaign focused on the growth of Dundurn’s relaunched website through the amplification of BIPOC authors and increased discoverability for their books. The focus of the BIPOC Amplifier Campaign was to drive traffic to beautifully designed landing pages which offered a greater depth to each author’s unique voice and experiences. The campaign was developed our of Dundurn Press’s commitment to amplify and elevate exceptional Canadian writers as well as typically underrepresented voices that form key parts of Canada’s diverse cultural and literary community.
The landing pages featured some of Dundurn’s finest offerings in its 50 years as a publisher, including Jamaican-born Canadian Tanya Turton’s debut novel, Jade Is a Twisted Green; Ghanaian Canadian author Sifton Tracey Anipare’s Yume, a sprawling urban fantasy set in Japan; as well as Giller Prize-nominated Cheluchi Onyemelukwe-Onuobia’s The Son of the House, and nearly a dozen other worthy books.
