We are sensitive to the issue of privacy and have structured our online activities to maximize your control over the disclosure of your own personally identifiable information. What information is collected?

Dundurn may collect two types of information: personally identifiable information and aggregated non-personally identifiable information. Personally Identifiable Information includes information such as your name, user name, address, postal code, telephone number, email address, employment status,intentions, preferences and opinions. Dundurn does not collect personally identifiable information about an individual except when individuals provide such specific information on a voluntary basis. Aggregated information will include information that is anonymous such as the type of browser you are using or other such non-personally identifiable information.

Why is the information collected?

Dundurn may collect your personal information in order to enable us to make general improvements to the Site, ensure that content standards of the Site are rigorously upheld, and to better serve your specific interests. We may also request you to voluntarily provide personal information that is not required to access features of our Site.

Google Display

Dundurn participates in the Google Display network to deliver our advertisements to you in the form of text or image ads. This requires Google Display to set a cookie on your browser (see above). You do have the possibility to deactivate cookies used for advertising purposes. Use of Site by Minors

The Site is not directed to individuals under the age of fourteen (14), and we request that these individuals do not provide personal information through the Site.

Cross-Border Transfer

Your personal information may be stored and processed in any country where we have facilities or in which we engage service providers, and by using our Site you consent to the transfer of information to countries outside of your country of residence, including the United States, which may have different data protection rules than in your country.

How secure is your information?

Transmission of the personal information you provide when you create an online account and place an online order is secured using Secure Socket Layers(SSL) encryption technology, and our service providers operate in compliance with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS).

Updating or deleting your information

Dundurn enables our users to update/correct personal information previously submitted which the user states is erroneous to the extent such activities will not compromise privacy or security interests. Please note that it maybe impossible to delete a user’s entry totally without some residual information because of backups and records of deletions.

Receiving electronic communications from us
