Brereton Greenhous

Brereton Greenhous worked for twenty-five years in the Department of National Defence's Directorate of History. He has authored, co-authored, or edited a dozen books on Canadian military history, including Out of the Shadows: Canada in the Second World War and "C" Force to Hong Kong: A Canadian Catastrophe, 1941-1945.

W.A.B. Douglas

W.A.B. (Alec) Douglas was the official historian of the Canadian Armed Forces from 1973 to 1994. He is the author of the second volume of the official history of the RCAF, The Creation of a National Air Forcepublished in 1996, and has published many articles on naval and aviation history in Canadian, American and British journals.
