police

Hello Canada,

I couldn’t be more thrilled to introduce myself and my series of novels featuring Victor Lessard, a detective sergeant at the Major Crimes Unit of the Montreal police. With Never Forget, the first release, you will follow Victor and his partner Jacinthe Taillon as they track down a ruthless killer. As you will see, it is a dark, twisted, action-packed, emotionally dense, heart-pounding thriller…

If you grew up in Windsor, you probably first learned about Prohibition through stories told to you by your grandparents. These bootleggers and their wild adventures along the Detroit River are a part of local folklore. As a kid, I didn’t really care how much of it was true – I just thought they were great stories. Then along came Marty Gervais’ The Rumrunners, full of photos, newspaper excerpts, and interviews, and that made it real.

Ten Novels? Never!

Posted on October 4 by Don Easton

Hello, my name is Don Easton and I am the author of the Jack Taggart Mystery series. This year is a milestone for me (and no doubt my editor) with the release of my 10th novel, A Delicate Matter. I never believed or even allowed myself to dream that I would write that many books. When I first started writing I thought I had what it took to get one novel published –– but ten? Don’t be ridiculous. No way!
