The 25th Annual Lamda Literary Awards were announced in New York on Monday, June 3rd at a sold out gala ceremony. Dundurn is thrilled to announce that Jeffrey Round, author of Lake of the Mountain, won for Best Gay Mystery. Lake on the Mountain is the first in the Dan Sharp mystery series, and is set in Prince Edward County. Jeffrey Round has published five other novels, and has also written plays, and directed short films. His first two books were listed on AfterElton’s Top 100 Gay Books. Publishers Weekly said of Lake of the Mountains that “Round draws readers deep into Dan’s physical and psychological worlds, balancing his protagonist’s faults with his gifts as an investigator and father.”
