In honour of Priscila Uppal’s new play, 6 Essential Questions (opening March 6th at Toronto’s Factory Theatre), Dundurn Press is hosting a special Twitter giveaway. Simply tweet us the name of your favourite movie mother (i.e. Momma Gump, Rosemary Woodhouse) to win two tickets to see 6 Essential Questions or two runner-up prizes of signed copies of Uppal’s acclaimed memoir, Projection: Encounters with my Runaway Mother – upon which her play is based.  Be sure to include the hashtag #6EssentialQuestions in your response. The giveaway ends Monday, March 10, 2014 at 10 a.m. Three winners will be picked by random draw.

Priscila Uppal was an internationally acclaimed poet, prose writer, and playwright. A York University professor and Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, she was the author of Ontological Necessities and Cover Before Striking. Her memoir, Projection: Encounters with My Runaway Mother, was shortlisted for the Hilary Weston Prize and a Governor General’s Award.
