Congratulations to Jeffrey Round!

Lake of the Mountain by Jeffrey Round has won the 25th Lamda Literary Award for Best Gay Mystery.

Fire on the Runway by Mel Bradshaw is acclaimed by Library Journal (June Print Issue) as an excellent police thriller and is compared to some classic formidable titles—“This excellent police thriller set in 1926 Canada is the second case (after Quarrel with the Foe) for Bradshaw’s World War I vet.  It’s reminiscent of John Buchan’s classic The Thirty-Nine Steps, with abundant espionage and historical detailing”

Laughing Wolf and Fortuna by Nicholas Maes was reviewed online by Readingtimbits.ca and praised for challenging readers—   “What Maes does extremely well is to challenge his readers to consider the roles that history and religion play in our lives, and to understand how vital emotion and memory actually is. Whether you’re a history buff or a sci-fi fan, these novels are entertaining and thought-provoking, and well-worth offering to tween readers.”
