Award News: Hamilton Arts Council Literary Award for Non-fiction

Dundurn Press is pleased to announce that two of its titles, Haunted Hamilton by Mark Leslie and Empty Cradle by Diana Walsh, have been nominated for the Hamilton Arts Council Literary Award for Non-fiction. They are joined in the non-fiction category by one other finalist: Hamilton Illustrated by David Collier. The Hamilton Literary Awards, celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, is presented to local authors whose books are of “outstanding merit and quality.”

The awards will be announced on Tuesday, November 12th at a ceremony at Theatre Aquarius (Norman and Louise Haac Studio Theatre). The ceremony is free and all are welcome to attend. For more information, please visit: http://hamiltonartscouncil.ca/page/hamilton-literary-awards
