As part of the Brotherhood Breakfast Club as organized by the Holy Blossom Temple Brotherhood, Irene Borins Ash will be discussing her book, Aging Is Living: Myth-Breaking Stories from Long-Term Care. Attendees will learn more about age-friendly communities and how to continue living a fulfilled life in long-term residence.

Aging Is Living tells the personal stories of long-term care reisdents, showing that contrary to popular perception, leading an inspiring and interesting life within these caring communities is possible. Through interview and candid photographs, particular emphasis is palced on the positive facets of these lives: pursusing personal interests, remaining connected to personal values and relationships, and sharing this insight with others.
