The decision to relocate to long-term care residence can be a challenging and emotional experience. Irene Borins Ash will be discussing the process and showing how age-friendly community living can foster a joyful and fulfilled life. Attendees can hear Irene's talk, entitled, "Aging With Purpose and Joy: If Not Now, Then When?" and learn how life really can get better with age.

Aging is Living tells the personal stories of long-term care residents, showing that contrary to popular perception, leading an inspiring and interesting life within these caring communities is possible. Through interviews and candid photographs, particular emphasis is placed on the positive facets of these lives: pursuing personal interests, remaining connected to personal values and relationships, and sharing this insight with others.
