Author

Born in Sheffield, England, Peter Unwin emigrated to Canada as a child. His first short story was published in 1980. Since then, his essays, poems, and stories have appeared in The Queen‘s Quarterly, The Toronto Star, Borealis, The Canadian Forum, The Beaver and many other publications. His examintion of Grey Owl has been nominated for a National Magazine Award, and his first book, The Rock Farmers (1994), a collection of short stories, received a nomination for the Stephen Leacock Award.
